Raimondo envisions a program run by the treasurer’s office and paid for by private companies, especially those in the banking industry.
“I think it’s so important we engage businesses and engage the financial community in fixing our state and fixing our state’s finances,” Raimondo said in an interview Wednesday. “It’s not OK that business opts out.”
